We are moving toward a future where "printing" happens inside the fulfillment center. Instead of stocking 50 different box designs, warehouses will stock plain brown boxes and a Single Pass printer. As an order comes in, the printer applies the specific brand, the customer's name, and the shipping label in one pass. This just-in-time (JIT) approach is set to redefine logistics in the next five years.
